Social Justice Program

A scholarship initiative designed to provide educational grants to the children of our dedicated employees. This program is a reward for the hard work and productivity of our employees recognizing their contributions to our success.

Charity Donations

Extending our reach by supporting several charitable initiatives aimed at uplifting local communities. From providing essential resources to underprivileged children, to partnering with organizations that focus on education and healthcare.

Metro Welfare Fund

A company initiative designed to provide comprehensive financial assistance to employees facing medical-related challenges. This fund aims to alleviate the burden of medical expenses by offering support for hospitalizations, surgeries, treatments, medications, and other health-related needs.

COMPLIANCE IN LABOR STANDARDS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Laws and Regulations – ensuring a fair, safe, and ethical workplace for all employees. Adherence to national and international labor standards, such as fair wages, reasonable working hours, and workplace safety.

• Discrimination – non-discriminating in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, transfer, termination or retirement on the basis of age, race, ethnic origin, nationality or skin color, gender and/or sexual preference and orientation.

• Child Labor – prohibiting the work of those less than years of age, pursuant to the national law or any other applicable law or standard depending upon which is the most stringent.

• Force Labor – prohibits all kinds of forced or compulsory labor under any conditions, including bonded, indentured, forced and/or compulsory prison labor.

• Working Hours – complying with the legal and industry standards on working hours.

• Wages and Benefits – fair compensation for its employees according to the standard set in the Labor Code of the Philippines.

• Harassment and Abuse – providing an environment free from any unlawful act including, sexual, physical and verbal harassment, coercion or other threatening and abusive behavior.

• Health and Safety – providing a clean, safe and healthy workplace and shall take adequate steps to prevent potential accidents and injury to its employees’ health arising out of associated with, or occurring in the course of work, by minimizing the causes of hazards inherent to the working environment.

• Freedom of Association (Labor-Management Committee) – promoting a continuous and harmonious dialogue with the employees collectively.

• Environmental Management – constructing programs and services that improve environmental performance to mitigate and minimize environmental risks.

• Subcontractors – developing an action plan for improving working conditions with homeworkers or subcontractors where these are found to be below those set out in local labor standards.

• Communication – communicating goals, activities, programs and policies. Actively invite feedback from employees, customers and community members in shaping and improving our CSR initiatives.

• Management System – documenting proof of compliance and systems ensuring the continuous research, observation and documentation in compliance with all the elements of CSR policies.

• Monitoring & Compliance – streamline process, set measurable goals, and monitor welfare.
